Having been given a new Nikkor 80-400 lense for my D300 camera for Christmas, we headed off down the Condamine Valley to put ot through its passes. I am extremely excited by its results and simply love the new lense.

Girls Weekend Away

Alison is back from a wonderful weekend spent on the Gold Coast. Belinda did a great job organising the 7 of us. Our days were filled with food, music, shopping and fun. A wonderful time had by all.

RunAbout

In the tradition of WalkAbout, RunAbout is a quick trip from Brisbane to Perth via the Nullabor. Remember if you are crossing the Nullabor, to stop and see the natural beauty that is just off the highway.

So What is Walkabout?

Walkabout is our pictorial Journal Around Australia - the trip took 6 months and had a very sad ending for Alison.

Both of us had worked for many years in our respective professions and in some ways neglected the things in life that are really important to us. The "rut" of life had caught us and we really needed to shake it loose. Often We would talk about how we wanted to see the Northern Territory and the North West Coast of Western Australian, but had never found the way to get there. So instead of doing it all by half measures, we finished up our jobs, packed the vehicle and left home on the 1 August 2006 with no definite return date. Photography is a passion for both of us, and the opportunity to practice would be easy, so the obvious answer to sharing this passion with family, loved ones and other like minded people is through this web page. So please enjoy and send us your feed back so as to inspire us.
