I was so exciting this morning I woke before dawn and headed off to the beach to take some photos. The harbour is so beautiful at this hour.
Today we headed back to the airport to catch a local flight to Gizo Island. This is in the western province and about an hour away. Christine and I had no idea what the plan would look like and we were a little concerned when we saw the DC9 sitting on the runway.
To our relief the plane was a little larger and soon we were on our way to Gizo Island. You could see the massive coral reefs are you flew over them.
About an hour later we were headed for a small landing strip that went from one side of a coral island to the other. How cool.
Once we landed it was time to get your bags and find our shuttle to Sanbis Resort.
Here we were welcomed with coconut drink and taken to our beach bungalow. Stunning!
