Kinkuna to Carmila
Weather has been a little cool and I was keen to get up the coast further to the hotter tempoatures so today we travelled to Carmila. We managed to camp with the many other Grey Nomads on Carmila Beach. When the tides go out here it leaves huge beaches of mud. Nevertheless we stayed a couple of days whilst I could back up on work again.

Today we planned to travel to Kurrimine Beach – it is a full day trip and we expected the arrive late in the afternoon. It appears the Grey Nomad community have really adopted Kurrimine Beach since our visit there 6 years ago. As there was no camping available we headed inland to camp beside a creek.
11 August 2013
Early start today as we headed inland to visit some waterfalls. First stop was Ellinjaa Falls.
Our next stop for the day was Milla Milla Falls
Our final stop for the day was Millstream Falls 3.5 km south-west of Ravenshoe.
