Painted Desert

Day 103 – 14 June 2015

This morning, Steve and I did a big walk through the Painted Desert. Then after having a break for afternoon tea an evening photo shoot was in order. The sky was awash with pinks and blues and we are both surprised by how much this area has changed since 2009 and our last visit here.

Day 104 – 15 June 2015

Afternoon trip through the Painted Desert and a wonderful surprise, the arrival of our friends from Murphy’s Haystacks, Cathie and Geoff. It was excellent catching up as it had been 8 or so weeks since we had seen them and they had many stories of the places they had visited.
