Today Steve and I headed off to see friends Paul and Jane down near Eumundi. A great night was had by one and all.

We bid goodbye to the guys, and each other as Alison headed for Brisbane and Steve for home via sunshine coast. Alison caught up with friends in Brisbane and also met a couple who own a Travel Truck TT88.
17 – 20 April 2019
Bedded down near Mt Warning for a few days. Walked Wollumbin Forest on the north side of Mt Warning. The wet weather is bringing out the leaches, yuk! Also found this beautiful carpet snake in my travels all curled up. Came back to him 15 minutes later and he had not moved.

Dropped into Nimbin this morning on the way to the Old Glen Innes Road. Not much has changed here. I don’t remember the rock formations being so stunning. Arrived at Nymboida River on sunset, and found a spot. So many people here camping – WOW
22 – 26 April 2019
Headed into Mt Hyland, and soo did the rain! Gave me a chance to catchup on many months of web page posts. Felt good to get it up to date again. Did find Lucifier’s Thumb (the local lookout). I think this is one of the best lookouts I have ever seen. Its has a 700m drop on 3 sides and looks directly down the Guy Fawkes River. Loved It!
Also had a visit from Kev and family from https://woolgoolgaoffroad.blogspot.com great people and it was lovely chatting.
27 – 28 April 2019
On to Ebor this morning and then to Dangars Falls. Was eager to bush walk this area so I visited a few of the local spots, but enjoyed Mihi Falls the most.

I have waited years for the chance to photograph Gostwyck Chapel at this time of year. To my delight, the leaves had turned the beautiful red. Awesome!
