Late start before doing some last minute shopping in Alice Springs and a fuel top up.
First stop was the Finke Desert Race to see some of the competitors racing for starting positions for the Sunday’s race.
About lunch time we headed off to find a camp besides the race track for the next 2 nights 3 days.
Great sunset watching many vehicles heading down the track for their own camping position. This 8×8 truck owed by Stuart and Sharon Healy had an awesome graphics job.
You have to love Northern Territory, fireworks are legal once a year here and campers near us we letting off fireworks for hours. So cool. We also broke out the BOSE speaker for a night of Australia Music.
