Moving

4 – 10 September 2021

It was certainly great to arrive at the familiar surroundings of Nambung Station. Time to rest up, catch up with friends, and do some much-needed maintenance on 4WDaus. Luckily for us, we had left our old set of tyres on Nambung Station, and so searched the boneyard to find the best to serve as a new spare.

We were keen to catch up with friends and explore the Rothsay area with them. Today we left Nambung, via Three Springs before heading to Camel Soak, The pink lakes of Womarden were gorgeous. The wildflowers on our trip to and around camp. We caught up with Robbie and Michael, taking in the wildflowers and Camel Soak which were spectacular.

12 – 13 September 2021

The next few days were spent with Mikey and Robbie and their truck WOMAN exploring the area including the Rothsay Township. Enjoyed the walking around John Forrest Lookout. More details about this amazing MAN build

14 September 2021

Today we discovered by accident Wreath Flowers in an unexpected area. They were spectacular.

To celebrate a great day we decided to have a meal at the Perenjori Pub. Typical country meals are just great. Mikey and Robbie are such fun.

15 September 2021

Today we moved the party onto a beautiful little campsite near Coalseam.  Sadly the wildflowers at Coalseam had passed their best.

16 September 2021

The plan today was to head off to Geraldton and have a look at a house or two. After we said goodbye to Robbie and Mikey we headed off to Mingenew to get coffee at the bakery.

Strangely, it was here where everything changed. We decided to have a look at some houses in Jurien Bay instead – Long story short – we bought a house in Jurien Bay

17 September 2021 – 14 October 2021

Back to Nambung for Muster’s preparation and make some plans on how we will move 5,000 km across the country in the middle of a pandemic.  We also took some time to look at the wildflowers at the station. Just beautiful.
