It is so nice being in the bush – we both seem to sleep so much better here. Today I decided to get up and explore the area on foot. There is so much wildlife along the banks of the creek, including kangaroos, emus, snakes and even a fox.
On return to camp, we decided to explore some more of the area by vehicle. About an hour later we came across another pretty campsite and decided to stay the rest of the day here. There are some incredible River Gums here with massive exposed root systems on the bank of the Punkah Creek. It is amazing how the light on a scene changes throughout the day and sometimes for brief moments only a photo opportunity presents itself. Today is one of those times where the light, the sky and the scene came together.
Later in the twilight the sky was awash with lashings of pink against the blue. To have 2 such different scenes on the same day was lovely and the reason we love our Amesz and the opportunity it gives us.
