Our adventure began with a 50km drive to the Chang International Circuit, the designated venue for the much-anticipated Classic Car Revival 2023. Arriving around 9 am, we were immediately captivated by the sheer diversity of the automotive marvels on display.
From the head-turning allure of a gleaming red Ferrari with its prominent “15” on the bonnet, to the eye-catching, unorthodox paintwork on a VW, and the rugged appeal of off-road 4WD setups, the scene was a vibrant tapestry of automotive history.
Armed with our VIP passes, we embarked on an in-depth exploration of the pit areas and the race track itself.
The event wasn’t just about the cars; it was the people who brought them to life.
Proud drivers, both men and women, showcased their prized possessions with infectious enthusiasm.
Engaging conversations with drivers, staff, and even a few friendly faces (including a sprinkle of charm) made the experience truly unforgettable.
By 4 pm, a pleasant exhaustion settled in, a testament to the day’s immersive experience. As we departed for the return drive to our hotel in Surin, the sights and sounds of the Classic Car Revival lingered, leaving behind a deep sense of satisfaction and a renewed appreciation for the timeless allure of classic automobiles. By the way we did stick to the speed limit for the trip home LOL
